Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee
the daily operations of the municipality in collaboration with the Council.
- Manage
municipal finances, including General Ledger, Utility Billing, Tax Roll,
Accounts Payable, and Receivable using MuniSoft software.
- Deliver
guidance in human resources management.
- Handle
communication, public relations, and community engagement efforts.
- Coordinate
various projects, ensuring timely completion and prioritization of tasks.
- Attend
meetings, conventions, elections, and engage in emergency planning as
required.
Qualifications:
- Certificate
in Local Government Authority (LGA) or working toward completion of LGA
courses.
- Experience
with MuniSoft software.
- Strong
oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency
in technology (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet).
- Capacity
to multitask and arrange projects efficiently.
- Community-oriented
with a self-motivated approach to advocating for Langenburg's growth.
