 Responsibilities:

  • Install Electrical Systems: Bring spaces to life by setting up wiring, outlets, lighting, and circuit breakers in residential and commercial projects, all while following safety codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and Fix Issues: Troubleshoot problems like faulty wiring or circuit malfunctions. With your tools and expertise, you’ll quickly identify and solve the issue.
  • Upgrade Systems: Modernize outdated electrical systems, whether it’s installing energy-efficient solutions or upgrading panels to meet current standards.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to keep electrical systems safe, efficient, and in top shape.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA guidelines and local electrical codes, always putting safety first.
  • Collaborate with Others: Partner with contractors, HVAC technicians, and construction crews to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Deliver Great Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients, explain your work, and make sure they’re happy with the results.
  • Keep Records: Document the details of every job, including parts used and time spent, for easy reference later.

 

Requirements:

  • Education & Certification: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with completion of an apprenticeship or a valid electrical license (based on local/state laws).
  • Experience: You have at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a licensed electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Technical Expertise: You’re skilled in working with circuits, electrical systems, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
  • Physical Fitness: This is a physical job, so you’re prepared for tasks like lifting equipment, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is key—you take pride in doing high-quality, safe work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You approach challenges with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong Communication: You can explain complex issues in simple terms and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
